Inspired by the shape of an ancient Chinese shield, a shield motif has always represented physical protection, but there are more and more forces that aren’t physical that threaten our well-being every day. And to protect ourselves from those, we need to set boundaries. The ripples from the center stone are inspired by the Boundaries that we put up to protect ourselves to preserve our peace, patience, and mental safety.
